271 Front Street East Inc.
271 Front Street Inc. owns the eponymous property at Front Street East and Parliament Street. EN Consulting mandate is to assist the client to engage and communicate with key stakeholders, local community, and communities of interest to share the story of the archaeological program currently underway on the site of Ontario’s First Parliament Buildings: municipally known as 271 and 265 Front Street East. To date this has included organizing and facilitating a public meeting in 2011 that reviewed the scope of the archaeological work to be done on-site prior to further conversations related to the development application proposal for 271 Front Street East.
3C Lakeshore Inc.
3C Lakeshore Inc. is a joint venture between Cityzen Development Group and Castlepoint Realty Partners of Toronto and Continental Ventures Realty of New York. theEN Consulting’s professional services will be to assist the client to identify and liaise with key stakeholders, relevant City Councillors and staff, and project team members as required. The program’s goal is to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and cultivate supportive voices that are identified through stakeholder engagement.
Bloor East Neighbourhood Association (BENA)
BENA is the community assocaiton for residents in Toronto’s Bloor East Neighbourhood, in the blocks north and south of Bloor Street East between Church Street and Sherbourne Street. EN Consulting has provides counsel and advice in respect to stakeholder and municipal government relations to BENA. We are also working with them develop a policy context for better managing community liaison issues with new construction projects in their area.
Cityzen
EN Consulting provides stakeholder consultation services for Cityzen Development Group. Most recently, EN Consulting facilitated meetings with key local stakeholders in respect to Cityzen’s development application for 154 Front Street East.
Community Matters – SMART Development
Community Matters is a community-based NGO in St. Jamestown. They have been leading a community conversation on public realm improvements within St. Jamestown and engaging with the proposed development in North St. Jamestown under the rubric of SMART Development. EN Consulting has provided advice and counsel on community organizing, managing the dialogue with the development proponents, and effective relations with City Staff and the City Councillor’s Office. Most recently, EN Consulting team members Edward Nixon and Chris Drew were among the facilitators at a day long charrette looking at public realm improvements in south St. Jamestown.
Ferncastle
Ferncastle is the partnership developing the the Daniel Libeskind designed L Tower and the Backstage Condominium designed by Page + Steele IBI Group in downtown Toronto. Ferncastle is made up of three main development companies: Castlepoint Realty Partners, Cityzen and Fernbrook Homes. EN Consulting provides community liaison services in respect to the construction of the L Tower and Backstage condominiums; inlcuding the operation of the L Tower & Backstage Construction Information website. EN Consulting also co-facilitates at City-mandated Working Committee that is developing an operations plan for the Public Exhibit Space and PATH connection that will be delivered as part of the Backstage condominium development.
The Ontario Research and Innovation Optical Network (ORION) is an advanced techology, “ultra-fast” fibre optic network, owned and operated by a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advancing research, learning and innovation. In spring 2012 EN Consulting was engaged to assist ORION with stakeholder and media outreach to support and promote their inaugural THINK Conference.
